ROLE PURPOSE:

To support the Global Creative Services team in the development and implementation of regional and centralised creative solutions, including design, artwork and new media.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. To provide creative solutions and concepts to approved creative briefs. Build campaign-orientated solutions across print and new media platforms.
2. Develop and protect the MoneyGram brand relating to good quality design principals and execution.
3. To provide an artworking service for template-driven regional requirements and other projects as directed by Studio Production Controller’s and key clients.
4. Work with Studio Production Controller and Studio Manager to ensure all creative assets and work are named and filed according to approved studio protocols.
5. Ensure all work is created / approved in accordance with studio approval process.
6. Provide creative and campaign consultancy for central initiatives as well as initiatives generated within designated region.
7. Work closely with key regional contacts to understand marketing messaging, creative challenges and objectives of activity in order to originate or approve relevant creative.
8. Ensure planned messaging reflects approved headlines and campaign tone of voice.
9. Ensure cross regional consistency of approach and style of marketing communications.
10. Work with the Manager and other Design staff to brainstorm and contribute to creative excellence of the Global Creative Services Team.
11. Be an active contributor to the Brand Champion programme; share best practice creatives across designated region.
12. Coach regional contacts on effective design principles and the MoneyGram brand.
13. Support the Studio manager in general marketing/creative projects and tasks as required.
14. Other ad-hoc duties as required by the business. 

SCOPE/CONTEXT:

1. Territory: Europe and Africa predominately and others as required.
2. Region/Department: Global Creative Services
3. Office/Base: London
4. Reports to the Global Studio Manager but will be required to provide support across the Europe/Africa and APAC marketing teams in addition to handling occasional/ad hoc requests from the wider regional offices
5. Will collaborate with external suppliers to include design, web and advertising agencies.
6. The majority of contact will be conducted via conference calls; given time zone differences so some work may be required out of office hours.  On occasion international meetings will be face to face therefore some international travel may be required.
7. Fluency in English and relevant languages to European region are essential.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

1. Must be a qualified Graphic Designer
2. At least 5 years commercial design experience
3. A proven track record within a design agency or in-house studio operating at a similar level
4. Proven track record of direct client interaction or with internal business groups
5. The ability to see jobs through from briefs to high-end print and online material using Adobe Creative Suite
6. Highly creative, but with the ability to work to strict deadlines
7. Excellent artworking skills
8. Good knowledge of pre-production and print processes
