The Role
Responsible for the end‑to‑end design and technical delivery of street lighting and related electrical installations for highways, public realm and external environments. The role covers surveys, concept and detailed design, preparation of lighting layouts, cable and feeder pillar designs, and the specification of controls such as photocells, dimming and CMS systems, ensuring all solutions are safe, energy‑efficient and compliant with current standards and regulations.
You will work closely with highways, civils and traffic teams, supports contractors during installation, testing and commissioning, updates as‑built records and asset data, and contributes to long‑term asset management and sustainability objectives through optimised, low‑energy lighting designs.
