Senior Design Engineer – Build Tooling

We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer to play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of high-performance tooling solutions that directly support Power Unit build, validation, and race operations. This role is critical in enabling fast, repeatable, and reliable assembly and servicing of our 2026 Power Units.
The Senior Design Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end design and delivery of engine build tooling and trackside race tooling. This includes concept generation, detailed design, validation, manufacture support, and continuous improvement based on factory and trackside feedback.
You will apply engineering first principles to develop robust, lightweight, ergonomic, and reliable tooling solutions that meet demanding performance, packaging, and operational requirements. In addition, you will guide and mentor engineers, supporting their technical development while ensuring high engineering standards across the team.
Additionally, the Senior Design Engineer will deputize for the team leader when required and represent the team in engineering and program-focused meetings, ensuring that technical decisions align with project goals and company strategy.
