We’re looking for a Filmmaking Trainee to join our GCN video team. Whether you’ve just finished a film/media degree or you’re a self-taught creator making your own content on YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram - we’d love to hear from you.

This Traineeship is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced filmmakers, develop your production skills, and help bring to life the kind of content that keeps cyclists hitting “play” again and again.

🚴‍♂️ What You'll Be Doing

• Assisting with filming and editing video content for our GCN channels.
• Joining the crew on shoots - in the studio, on location, and sometimes even out on the road.
• Learning how to capture footage that tells engaging stories about road cycling.
• Supporting with camera setup, lighting, audio, and equipment maintenance.
• Helping with edits, thumbnails, and short-form social content for YouTube and social media
• Bringing your own creative ideas to brainstorms and content development sessions.

🎬 What We’re Looking For

• A genuine passion for cycling and video creation - you don’t need to be a pro, just enthusiastic!
• Basic knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
• Some experience filming - maybe through university projects, personal content, or your own YouTube channel.
• A willingness to learn, try new things, and get hands-on in every part of production.
• A collaborative, can-do attitude and strong communication skills.
• A confident road cyclist who’s happy to film outdoors and work in dynamic environments.
