Job Title: Designer / Creative Artworker

Location: Stockport

Salary: £32,000 – £40,000

Working Pattern: Full-time, 5 days onsite (08:30 – 16:30)

Company Overview

Our client is an established agency with various clients and brands across the beauty and cosmetics sector.

Design plays a central role in the organisation, with a collaborative creative team responsible for developing trend-led packaging and product concepts that perform strongly in retail environments.

The Role

This is a hands-on Designer / Creative Artworker position focused primarily on packaging design and production artwork across multiple beauty and gifting product ranges.

Working as part of a small creative agency team, you will be client facing working on packaging design from concept through to final artwork, ensuring products are visually impactful and ready for production.

The role also supports marketing campaigns through the creation of digital and point-of-sale assets where required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop packaging concepts for FMCG brands client facing.
• Produce accurate print-ready artwork for production
• Translate briefs into commercially strong retail designs
• Liaise with UK and international suppliers during production
• Review proofs, colour standards and pre-production samples
• Support campaign launches with digital and POS assets
• Manage multiple projects and meet product launch deadlines

Key Skills & Experience

• 3+ years’ experience in a design or artwork role
• Strong experience in packaging design and artwork
• Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong understanding of print production and packaging processes
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment

Desirable

• Experience in Agency or FMCG
• Experience working with overseas manufacturers or suppliers
• Interest in product photography
