About the Role

We’re seeking a talented and experienced Senior Social Creative to help grow our EMEA creative account with standout, social-first work. In this role, you’ll be a key creative force behind ideas that feel native to platforms, tapped into culture, and genuinely resonate with Gen Z and emerging audiences. You have exceptionally high standards for craft, a sharp eye for art direction, and a deep understanding of how creativity lives and evolves across the social landscape.

You bring a proactive, culturally fluent creative instinct to the work — spotting trends early, understanding why they matter, and translating them into original, brand-relevant ideas. You think conceptually but execute with precision, ensuring work not only performs but pushes creative boundaries. You’re collaborative by nature, confident in your point of view, and comfortable shaping ideas alongside others to make the work stronger.

You’ll partner closely with the Creative Director and Group Creative Director, contributing to the overall creative vision while owning and elevating social ideas day to day. You’ll also work hand-in-hand with strategy, account, production, and other discipline leads to deliver work that is culturally relevant, platform-savvy, and impactful for our clients. Of equal importance is your ability to influence through ideas, stay adaptable, and remain curious in a constantly shifting social ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Based in Europe, you’ll join a team guided by our UK based GCD and NL based CD.
  • Collaborate closely with creatives, copywriters, designers, animators, and developers, as well as PMs, operations managers, and talented Monks across EMEA.
  • Develop strong, social-first creative concepts — from quick-turn trend responses to larger brand moments — across platforms and digital channels.
  • Bring a deep understanding of Gen Z culture, trends, memes, creators, and cultural moments to the work, ensuring ideas feel timely, relevant, and authentic.
Contribute to projects and pitches, helping shape and sell ideas for B2C brand content, social media, influencer, AI, AR, and campaign work.
  • Own projects independently while collaborating seamlessly within larger creative teams.
  • Create work that goes beyond the brief — delivering what the campaign needs, not just what was asked for — with strong art direction and attention to craft.
  • Partner with designers to produce visually compelling decks and presentations aligned with strategic and creative objectives
  • Work across multiple projects simultaneously, pushing creative quality and innovation at every stage.
  • Stay ahead of platform changes and social trends, anticipating opportunities and potential challenges before they arise.

About You

The essentials:

  • 6–8+ years of B2C experience in a senior creative role, with a strong focus on social-first and digital marketing.
  • Deep, intuitive understanding of the social media landscape — platforms, formats, trends, creators, and evolving best practices.
  • Highly tapped into Gen Z culture and online behavior, with the ability to translate trends and cultural moments into meaningful brand ideas.
  • Strong conceptual thinker with a refined eye for art direction and craft.
  • Experience collaborating with Influencer Managers and creators to develop content that feels native, authentic, and impactful.
  • Social-first in approach, with ideas that can scale beyond organic into paid, experiential, or broader campaigns.
  • Comfortable leveraging insights, data, and cultural research to inform and strengthen creative ideas.
  • Ability to think clearly and contribute constructively throughout the entire creative process, from concept to execution.
  • Confident giving and receiving feedback, always focused on elevating the work.
  • Self-motivated, curious, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and creative rationale.
  • Collaborative mindset, working seamlessly across disciplines to simplify complex ideas into compelling creative output.

Not a must, but a plus:

  • A sharp instinct for spotting emerging trends before they peak — and knowing which ones to ignore.
  • Experience working with AI or emerging tools to enhance creative development.
  • A start-up mentality: proactive, opportunity-spotting, and unafraid to pitch new ideas.
  • Positive energy and cultural curiosity that inspires those around you to push the work further.
